Untitled

While the morning yawns
the geese land, and gaze at their reflections
in the smooth mirror they have broken.

Like ballerinas
the pheasants keep on tiptoes
their eyes bright with fear.

In the summer sun
one tree blinks scarlet, alone
in a crowd of green.

The fierce winds do not daunt
the blackbird, who clings to his weed
and merrily sings over the roar.
